What an affiliate link is
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same either way. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
Where these links appear
Affiliate links may appear anywhere on this site — inside posts, in sidebars, or in emails. Where a post contains affiliate links, we say so at the top of that post rather than relying on this page alone.
How we choose what to link to
We link to products because we think they are relevant to the project at hand — not because one program pays better than another. A commission never buys a recommendation, and it never changes what we say about a product.
