Hello friends — I’m Hazel, and CrochetCraftHouse is where I keep the free crochet patterns worth your yarn.
[ADD A FEW LINES OF YOUR OWN HERE — when you started crocheting, what you like making, why you started collecting patterns. Two or three sentences is plenty, and it should be true.]
What this site actually is
I am a curator, not a designer. I do not write the patterns you find here — talented people all over the internet do that, usually for free, and they deserve the traffic. What I do is read through them, sort out the ones that are clear and finishable, group them by season and skill level, and send you straight to the original.
There is no shortage of crochet content online. What there is a shortage of is content that respects your time.
What you will find
- Seasonal roundups — Christmas, Halloween, fall, spring, and everything between
- Beginner-friendly projects that do not assume you already know six stitches
- Blankets, amigurumi, baby gifts, home decor and wearables
- Stitch tutorials and technique guides over in How to Crochet
- Notes on yarn weight, hook size and skill level, so you know what you are getting into
How I handle other designers’ work
Every pattern I feature links back to its designer, on their own site. I do not republish anyone’s instructions, I do not copy their photos without permission, and I do not put free patterns behind an email form.
If you are a designer and you would like your work featured, credited differently, or removed, just say so and I will take care of it — the contact page is right here.
One honest note
I have not personally crocheted every pattern on this site — nobody who publishes at this pace has, whatever they tell you. What I can promise is that I read them before I recommend them, I say plainly when something looks tricky, and if you hit an error in a pattern I have linked, tell me and I will either flag it or take it down.

Questions, corrections, or a pattern you would like covered? The contact page reaches me directly. I read everything.
